Tuesday Woo couldn't get hold of Eric for basketball so he asked me to call him. But then I remembered that I don't have Fulton's phone number because he blocks his calling line id so there's no point in me having his phone number on my cell phone. Well I guess I could have his phone number so I can call him if I need to, but at the time I didn't think I'd ever have good reason to call him. After this incident I still don't think I'll ever call him.

So Woo still wanted to play basketball which was unfortunate for me. We started at about 18:00 and played for 90 minutes, five games of one-on-one. If it's just me and Woo I tend to play a lot harder and I feel a lot worse the next day, or even for the next few days. After the first game my lower back was killing me, but a few minutes rest helped. After the second game the same thing. Third and fourth games I took really easy. Fifth game semi-hard and I won the game because Woo let me score a bunch of points early without scoring himself.

It's a lot easier to play basketball with three people because then I don't have to play hard all the time. It's always effectively two people defending so I can defend maybe half the time, though actually it's more in spurts. Once you get back to 2 on 2 you have to play hard again. After a few weeks of playing hard you get used to it but we haven't been playing hard for a long time since Sweet hasn't showed up in months.

Monday night I went to pick up all the MechWarrior figures that I had bought. This almost completes the first series, except for the extra special figures given out in promos and tournaments. Same guy has the next series on eBay and I'd really like to buy them but I don't have money in the budget. I really have to stick to my budget or all is lost. Oh well, I should sell more stuff so I have some extra cash to buy games.
I left work at 16:15 Monday and on the way out Simon called me. He seemed pretty anxious that I finish the CpsNortel Adapter changes for the ExtendedTelesetDevice interface. I felt kind of guilty so I coded it Monday night and tested it Tuesday morning and had it working by noon. Then we had the second of our new Tuesday meetings which lasted an hour and then I was beat and didn't get much of anything done.

This adds to the Sunday work I did to fix a few bugs for the CpsAvaya support of ExtendedTelesetDevice. So we get to today and I'm beat because of basketball and I've been actually working the last couple of days. I'm thinking I should get started on the Cisco ICM Call Manager adapter 7-second screen pop delay fix and Simon comes up and asks when it'll be ready.

Now I've supposedly been working on this for the better part of a month, though we understand that's not continuous work but something I'd do an hour here or there as I have other projects. The only thing I've been doing is getting an environment set up so I can see the problem in the first place and that's mostly done. So I tell Simon I'll have it done today.

And then it's another six solid hours to get the environment done and working. Then test to see what the behavior is. Formulate a plan and code it. Then compile it which I forgot how to do. Test to make sure it works. Install the fixes on the machine we're hosting the demo environment on for Open World. After that I'm really brain dead.
