Tuesday night we played basketball at Tell Me since Dave was working that night. Actually Dave was covering for someone who showed up because there was a communicatin mix up so Dave wasn't really working. Anyway, we played a few games of Team Tip.

In Team Tip, it's the shooter vs the rest of the players. The shooter keeps shooting scoring +2 points. Each tip-in is worth -1 point and catching a ball that doesn't touch anything is worth -2 points. The objective is to get to +20 or -10 points. We've never gotten to -10 points. I think it's a more entertaining version of tip and the shooter gets to practive free throw shooting.

Anyway, Donald showed up and he played a couple of games. Then we played a game of 3-on-2 with Woo and I versus Dave, Donald and Fulton. It was 5-4 with us losing then we scored 6 straight points to go up 10-6 and won the game 11-7. Mostly Woo does everything since I get tired very quickly in a real game. I did score a couple of points.

After that tiring workout we went to the Tied House for dinner. Everytime people say the name I keep thinking Thai House -- it's just the way the local accent is around here. I had the burger which was very good. The fries were good too. Better than Chili's. Probably chipped in more money than I should have which makes me wonder if it was because Dave was paying or because there were more people.
Wednesday was pretty uneventful. I didn't go to work so I goofed off a lot and fielded a couple of calls. Stephanie got here about 14:30 and we left soon after. Lots of cars on the road. I was originally planning to go to mom and dad's and pick up Christopher later but traffic was bad enough that we just went straight to Davis. We got there at 18:00 and read books until Christopher got out of class.

We got to mom and Dad's at about 19:30. Next time we might try to leave late at night to avoid the Thanksgiving Weekend traffic. We had won ton soup for dinner and watched West Wing. I set up my computer downstairs and used the neighbor's wireless access point which someone has left open. Not a good signal though so it drops out occasionally. But when it's going it's much faster than dial up.

Christopher brought his Airport home and set it up upstairs so we can use that instead. You have to tell the Airport to dial out then wait a bit before you can go on the Internet. It's pretty neat though it does tie up the phone line.

I went to sleep on the spare bed which was quite uncomfortable. The bed isn't any smaller than my bed but it just felt cramped. I kept turning over and hitting the wall. Not a very good sleep at all.
