[Kevin] If you had to do it all over again, are there any stories that you would change substantially? What would you change?

[Tower] I would be lying if I said I was happy with all my work. Sometimes I wish that I took my time writing it, or did some more proof-reading before posting it and that if I had done it this 'way' then it would had been better.

[Kevin] Who do you write for? Who is the intended audience for your Callisto stories?

[Tower] Anyone who appreciates Callisto with a PG rating and with an occasional R, but doesn't like Callisto being portrayed as a way over the top, sword slashing mad woman. I don't like writing her all bad. Most of my writings are General fan fiction but some subtext themed stories are sneaking in now. Being a heterosexual male, I'm not bothered by a woman being attracted to another woman. Now I'm also getting into crossover stories, letting Callisto run into characters from other shows. My first crossover was in the '...Only One' that was started by Heresy where Callisto is a Highlander-style Immortal. It's called 'Two Minutes to Midnight', were Methos from Highlander the series goes to find Callisto. It's just two VERY old friends getting back together in our present day and finding themselves in trouble. The oddest crossover I've done so far in the '...Only One' series was 'Forever Maternal,' where an Immortal Dana Scully (Yes... an Immortal) meets up with Callisto and it turns out that our favorite redheaded FBI agent was Callisto's mother way back in Cirra through the miracle of reincarnation. I never intended to have it happen but the idea hit me after I did the restaurant scene of them meeting.

[Kevin] How important is feedback from readers? How does reader feedback influence your writings?

[Tower] Very important. It lets fan fiction writers know that you're doing a good job. If you get no feedback then it leads you to think that it must suck. I wish I could give feedback to every story that is posted on my site but I don't have the time because I know how important it is. So far all the feedback has been positive on my stories with a few criticisms but I can take it. However to date, no one has told me that 'I suck' so I must be leaving everyone generally happy.

[Kevin] "A Promise" credits Melissa as co-author. What was it like collaborating with another author?

[Tower] It happened unexpectedly. I finished the story and just asked Melissa to look it over and to offer some feedback. A few days later she emailed my story back with comments... A LOT of them. Offering more suggestions and ideas than I could have ever asked of her. She was a great help in developing the story farther than I intended. Melissa was the 'tender loving care' for it. We bounced a feel emails back and forth as I used her suggestions and since I've pretty well loved all of them, this collaboration between us went incredibly smoothly. When I was about to post it, I then offered to list Melissa as co-author which surprised her slightly but it was the least I could do considering how helpful she was.
