I loved this movie, almost enough to give it five stars. A Lot Like Love is a romantic
comedy with Aston Kutcher and Amanda Peet as the leads. Kutcher plays
Oliver, a guy who has a plan for happiness. Peet plays Emily, a girl
with no plans that he meets one day at the airport. They get together,
have a fun day, and then go their separate ways.
Three years later she calls him out of the blue. They get together New
Year's Eve and have a great time. But circumstances pull them apart and
it's another year before they get back together. The movie starts
getting serious about here when as they both come to realize that they
really care for each other.
At first I was way down on Kutcher. But later on he was quite charming
so it must have been the character he was playing. The chinese
restaurant scene was amazing: they're both playing the silence game and
the miming and faces they make are hilarious.

Extras
Blooper Reel (3:37)
Deleted Scenes (5 for 8:10)
"Brighter than Sunshine" music video by Aqualung (4:10)
Audio Commentary:
director Nigel Cole, producers Armyan Bernstein and Kevin Messick
All the extras are very good. The blooper reel is quite funny because
there were a lot of goofy moments, not just mistakes. The deleted
scenes are all new. The music video is also good. I loved the audio
commentary. British sense of humor and picking on themselves a lot.
Overall it's a very good DVD.
