Turn 2

Liao buys a Jumpship 2 as the Chancellor sends his forces forth. Liao troops take Kentares and then immediately join the Combine, this opens up a corridor for the troops in Ozawa to get to Robinson. The Capellan Hussars, Tikonov Reserves, Sarn Reserves, and Bullard's Armored Cavalry along with the 2 and 3 Jumpships are given to Lord Kurita to help prosecute his war.

Marik counterattacks and retakes Sierra and Marik, although the Marik manufacturing center is destroyed in the process. Marik concentrates on conventional units. It is only later that it is made clear to Davion and Marik that conventional units take 2 spaces on a Jumpship, not half a space as they thought. Steiner hires the Circinus Federation. A treaty is worked out: Marik returns Margaret Aten and Edward Regis in return for 5 million C-bills and three turns of peace.

Steiner builds a Jumpship 5 and some units. Katrina licks her wounds and eyes Kurita space.

Kurita launches another invasion of Robinson, sending in more and more Jumpships. Liao tries to make a deal: if Davion destroys most of his Jumpship force Liao will aid the Davion forces in the coming battle. Davion refuses, hoping that Liao will still be forced to help him since if Hanse Davion is captured, Kurita will be oh so close to taking the Davion throne. But Mad Max decides to throw his full support for Takashi. Katrina uses a couple of cards to aid Davion. The attack hurts the Davion forces, who retreat to Achemar. A strong Kuritan force holds Robinson. The Robinson manufacturing center is damaged in the fighting.

Davion recklessly attacks Robinson, and once again Hanse Davion is at the forefront. His forces consist mostly of conventional troops, an unfortunate choice on the Prince's part. With all but one Jumpship orbiting Robinson, Coordinator Kurita dare not lose this fight. Once again, Liao helps by getting ComStar to interdict the Davion forces. The battle goes badly for the Prince, as the Kurita forces destroy most of his conventional troops while only losing a couple of Mech units. Hanse Davion retreats back to Achemar. The Robinson manufacturing center is destroyed in the heavy fighting.
