FWL Exports to Federated Suns Down

The Ministry of Trade's latest quaterly figures show that exports to the Federated Suns is down 7.9% from the last quarter. Duncan Marik, head of the Ministry of Trade, explained to our reporter:

"With the announced alliance between the Federated Suns and the hated Lyran Commonwealth, many Federated Suns businesses have started to look to the Lyrans for goods that they used to buy from our businesses. My Ministry is looking at possible alternatives to remedy this problem. The Free Worlds economy is strong and our traders are a resourceful bunch. There is no need for anyone to worry about this economic burp."

Lyran Commonwealth Launches Offensives

Port Moseby, Buckminster Prefecture, Benjamin District, Draconis Combine

News arrived from the Lyran Commonwealth that the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces have started a three-pronged offensive against the Draconis Combine. One thrust centers on the world of Port Moseby in the Buckminster Prefecture. A second thrust centers on Carse in the Rubigen Prefecture. A third thrust aims at expanding the buffer zone around the Commonwealth world of Tamar, capital of the Tamar Domains.

Some Federated Suns 'Mechs and observers are present in the Lyran invasion forces. The LCAF has committed at least eight 'Mech regiments and thirty ancilliary regiments to the offensives.

Federated Suns Launches Offensives

Galtor III, Irurzun Prefecture, Benjamin District, Draconis Combine

Word has reached us that the Federated Suns has also started multiple offensives to coincide with the Lyran Commonwealth offensives. The Armed Forces of the Federated Suns have invaded Galatia III, Galtor III, and Tancredi IV. Reports are that there are some Lyran manufactured 'Mechs now in use by the AFFS. The offensives are composed of at least twelve 'Mech regiments and thirty-five support regiments.
