Summary

After months of struggle, Sir Wrigley has found the location where the Anduriens are storing the rest of the Blowfish Mechs. Low on supplies but not morale, Wrigley mounts an assault with his ragtag band of warriors.

The 4th Defenders of Andurien, Crimson Battalion, Kyle's Company is defending the main supply depot in the Southern Continent. Captain Kyle, newly promoted after a tour on the Magistracy border, takes his duty to defend the depot seriously. Daily patrols canvas the area for rebel Mechs while the Command Lance defends the base itself.

On this particular day, the Recon and Patrol lances are both out searching for Wrigley's rebels. It's a peaceful day, soon to be shattered by the clarion call of battle. Captain Kyle is in the middle of writing a letter to his family when the base alarms sound: Wrigley's Mechs have been spotted!

Kyle forms his Command Lance to defend the base while an urgent call goes out to the other lances. Kyle takes the point in his family Thunderbolt and deploys his lance in an oblique line. His force is outnumbered, but Kyle and his men calmly wait for the rebel Mechs.

Wrigley rushes in with Drew and Betty. Katherine and Rubina flank the defensive line. Heavy fire is traded between the two groups. Kyle's Thunderbolt is in the center of a firestorm, bravely taking blow after blow. His men take the opportunity to savage Wrigley's Mechs, but it's not enough.

Kyle's Thunderbolt finally falls. The rebels press onwards as the Andurien Mechs start to slowly fall back. Wrigley, in a daring (and perhaps foolish) maneuver, dives into the middle of the Andurien forces and blasts a Warhammer. But it doesn't fall, and its return fire disables Wrigley's Mech.

The rest of Wrigley's Mechs go on a rampage and quickly detroy the rest of the defending Mechs. The rebels liberate the other Mechs and escape back into the outback.
