Island City Military Research Center |
Built in
early 1940, the Island City Military Research Center (ICMRC) is tasked
with conducting a broad range of research, from developing an infantry
power suit to finding cures to bio-weapons to the experimental
radiation treatment center. The ICMRC is located a few miles southwest
of Island City, on the coast of Oahu. With a pristine view and an
idyllic setting, the ICMRC is a great place to work. Note that all
civilian scientists live off-base in Island City. Guard Towers There is one sentry in each of the corner towers and two in each of the entrance guardhouses. Each corner tower has a light machine gun [BODY 4, AV 7, EV 7, Ammo 12, Range 7, R# 3]. Base Soldier (60) All stats 2, Initiative 12, HP 5 Skills: Military Science: 2, Weaponry: 2 Equipment: Rifle [BODY 4, EV 5, Ammo 12, Range 6, R# 2] The base soldiers are rather lax -- we are at peace you know. This early Sunday morning most will still be asleep and it'll take them a few precious phases to wake up and grab their gear. The sentries will be automatically surprised the first two phases unless attacked. If attacked they will increase their DEX to 3 (3 HPs). |
