Introduction

With the stillborn death of an alliance between the Wizard and Moloch (as seen in issue #2), the Wizard has decided to create The Secret Society of Super-Villains. The purpose of this organization is to wrest control of Island City from Moloch and the new group of emerging super-heroes. This is but the first step in his plan to conquer Hawaii!

Moloch has gotten wind of the Wizard's plan and is not going to stand idly by. He publicly fired the Icicle so that the Icicle could infiltrate the Secret Society. The Wizard will of course see through such an obvious ploy, so Moloch has sent his second henchman, the Gambler, disguised as the villain Goldface, to worm his way into the Society and assassinate the Wizard.

The Wizard's plan is to stage a series of crimes with two aims. To test and hone the mettle of his new group, and to cow the city into submission by defeating her defenders in public.

This adventure is based on the DC Heroes module "King of Crime" (#217).
