Tales of Honor v1 collects the five-issue adaptation of David Weber's On Basilisk Station. Volume 2 collects the five-issue Bred to Kill story, of which I think the initial issue #0 intro story is loosely adapted from a Weber story, but the rest is original.
I love Honor Harrington. Volume 1 is a pretty good adaptation of that first novel, though with some extra interludes from novel six or so. The art is good. The story includes all the important points. The climactic space battle is about as well as you can expect for a comic book.
In Volume 2 Harrington, Tremaine and Harkness take a leave of absence and go to a space gambling ship to find Honor's uncle, who's become involved with an anti-slavery movement. Honor is then targeted by the station's owner who wants to kidnap Nimitz the treecat.
Volume 2 art is not quite as good. Well, I guess it's that V1 has more futuristic looking art, maybe more drawn on computer art. V2 is more traditional looking art, a bit more painterly.
Both volumes are entertaining and you can buy them used fairly cheap now.
