Another tough day of basketball. Played Dave one-on-one while we waited for Woo and Fulton to arrive. I quickly went up 13-6 but by then I was dead tired and Dave was starting to hit his shots. I ended up losing 21-15. That's pretty much how our games go. I can take him for half the game until I get really tired. Since it's one-on-one I don't have a partner to rely on and then I'm toast.

Our first game was Eric and I against Dave and Woo. Eric and I played hard. Actually Eric always plays hard, this time I played hard too even though I was tired. We actually won 11-10 as I made a prayer shot after knocking my glasses off. Eric scored 6 or 7 points, mostly from the outside where was hot. We actually passed sort of effectively and I went up to rebound a couple of balls and put them back in.

Then they played Tip while I rested and that turns into some sort of lazy goofing around. Second game was Woo and I against Eric and Dave. Lots of good passing and Woo was playing hard so we won easily. Woo scored probably 9 or 10 points by himself. Third game was a rematch and this time it was a little closer though Woo and I still won fairly easily since Woo was still actually playing. Fourth game was Eric and I again and it was mostly a "let Dave win one" sort of game.

Went to eat at Jack in the Box. Actually I got a sandwich at Togo's because I wasn't in the mood for a greasy burger. Eric was a bit nauseous, he thinks from some gum he was chewing before the game. Whatever it was he played really well throughout the day. Had dessert at Baskin-Robbins and I had their new Mocha Blast which is like a Starbuck's Frapuccino. It was good.
I'm in a buying mood again so I ordered some books online at Stiggybaby's. I've been sort of looking for a new online store now that Gamer's Attic is owned by RPGShop. RPGShop is a bit too impersonal for my tastes. That and it's only a 10% discount and they charge a lot for shipping. Stiggybaby's has a 20% discount and they charge USPS Media Mail shipping so at least it's reasonable.

I placed one order with them last week and the order arrived just fine. They have a really good selection with inventory that is more current than Gamer's Attic ever was. It's a pretty cool online store and one that I will be using for most of my online shopping.

I did get a bunch of work today. I'm coding not qute like mad but at least steadily getting things done. I really want to finish up and have something that mostly works by the time of DaveCon. The main stuff is not that hard, but it's all the details that are going to take a while. Let's see if I can keep up this burst of productivity.

Speaking of DaveCon, looks like my brother is going to attend, so I will be going too. It shouldn't be so bad since a couple of the former gamers have already declined, and that's good because I don't like the idea of a gamer reunion with a lot of people I either don't know nor really liked, other than Billy of course. We'll be staying until Sunday so my brother can get back to school on Monday.

Got a bit more Diablo playing done. Yesterday I got two dolls, today none but that's expected. I'm still trying to complete the first doll set and now I have half of the second set and none of the third.
