BugThug by Jonathan Czeck

There are one or more bugs in a dirt circle. The bugs move in a straight line unless you pinch them after which they change direction semi-randomly. Try to keep the bugs on the screen, steer them to various powerups, keep the bad bugs from attacking.

It has a happy subdued soundtrack, the graphics are very polished, the game play is a bit frustrating at times but very simple. Seems to be fairly challenging though you only need one bug to survive each level. Good instructions. Overall a very good game.

Gameplay: Good (4)  Perhaps a bit too simple.
Graphics: Excellent (5)  Game graphics appropriate to interface
Sound and Music: Good (4)  Entertaining music, bugs squeal & munch

SolarQuest by Andrew Farley

You're in a spaceship travelling through a cavern system (sideways scrolling). You only have two controls: thrust to give you lift and an accelerator to toggle between fast and slow speeds. The objective is to get to the end of the tunnel while avoiding obstacles and picking up coins for points and extra lives. The faster you go the more points you get.

Gameplay: Average (3)  Rather simplistic but still challenging
Graphics: Excellent (5)  Nicely rendered ship and background
Sound and Music: Good (4)  Techno background, a few other sounds

WordBeGone by Matt Diamond

You start out with an 8x11 grid of letters. The objective is to make words horizontally or vertically, forwards or backwards. Longer words are worth more points and you can switch adjacent letters for a small point penalty. As you remove words, any letters above will shift down to fill up the space. There is no timer, it's all thinking.

Gameplay: Excellent (5)  Great puzzle/thinking game
Graphics: Good (4)  Appropriate graphics, like the red line to choose
Sound and Music: Good (4)  Piano background, letters moving

FeatheredSoccer by Ludovico Rossi

It's a soccer match with chickens. You get an angled view of the playing field and move your chicken around, making passes and trying to score goals.

Unfortunately the game is very rough. The graphics are primitive. I couldn't figure out how to get the ball away from the opposing chicken. It's not that fun a game.

Gameplay: Very Poor (1)  Frustrating even
Graphics: Poor (2)  Needs a lot of work
Sound and Music: Poor (2)  Background music, GOAL! sounds only
