Kill Dr. Coté by Justin Ficarrotta

This is a version of Smash TV! You're in an arena and lots of robots are trying to kill you by running into you. You can throw a grenade that regenerates after some time and pick up special weapons though you can't turn them off. Use the mouse to aim and fire, the cursor keys to move, space bar to launch your grenade. At the end of each level Dr Coté comes out in his flying saucer and tries to shoot you before you kill him with enough hits. It's a frenetic game. Two game modes: normal and survival (try to live as long as you can).

Gameplay: Excellent (5)  Very fun and smooth.
Graphics: Excellent (5)  Cartoonish flavor, good interface.
Sound and Music: Excellent (5)  Frenetic soundtrack, lots of sounds.

MadTak by Joseph Duchesne

You pilot one of five spaceships in this 2-d action game. You have two modes, move and attack. You attack by ramming into the enemy. Move move is very slow and the play area is big. Not a very fun game.

Gameplay: Poor (2)  Takes a long time to get around.
Graphics: Good (4)  Ships look nice.
Sound and Music: Good (4)  Nice background music.
Rescue by Neil Carter

3d first person game. You pilot a ship in an asteroid field. Go to the mining outposts, dock with them, rescue the miners. Go to the hyperspace gate to get to the next level. No bad guys in this version.

Gameplay: Poor (2)  There is no real challenge.
Graphics: Good (4)  Nice 3-d space graphics and movement.
Sound and Music: Average (3)  Haunting melody and some sounds.

Astroknights - Duel Arena by Stuart Barth

Go through a long ship design process then battle another ship, either computer or player controlled. Ship design is not easy to use because you can't go back and forth. Combat can be depressingly quick and then you have start ship design all over again.

Gameplay: Poor (2)  Too much time spent on ship design.
Graphics: Good (4)  Everything does look nice.
Sound and Music: Average (3)  Seemed ok.
