When Ms Leick first stepped onto the platform there was a flurry of flash-bulbs going off, almost blinding. Anyway, she had a bowl of strawberries that she was eating and one of the first things she said to the audience was: "anyone want some strawberries?" It took a few seconds before one brave soul ventured to go up and soon there was a crowd of people up front milling about for a bit before everything returned back to normal. [Full] Ms Leick smiling. I have no idea why since I don't remember. It just looked like a nice picture to have here. [Full] A far off shot of Ms Leick with a mischievous on her face. She did a good job of moving back and forth and posing for photographs throughout her talk. The woman next to me had this really expensive looking professional setup, complete with a flash bracket. But it was just a normal camera so her shot speed wasn't fast, probably only too 30-40 shots to my 200, although I'm sure hers came out better overall.  [Full] Another nice clear shot, although nothing really interesting about this one. These shots are in chronological order, by the way.  [Full] Here's a black and white shot. One of the many gifts given to Ms Leick, I think. Some sort of base with a Callisto figure and a life-size chakram. [Full] Another black and white shot, this one with Ms Leick raising her left arm, maybe stretching? Notice the bags and wrapping material from the gifts. She was also drinking some sort of bottled water. Never could stand the bottled stuff myself. [Full]
