Count Almaviva disguises himself as a soldier and gets
into Doctor
Bartolo's house. He tricks Dr. Bartolo into thinking that Rosina
is going to meet Count Almaviva elsewhere. With Dr. Bartolo gone,
the Count marries Rosina.
[Really condensed version. I don't do the Opera justice.
Read the
synopsis, or better yet, see it if you can.]
GC: ((Sniff)) I love happy endings.
LK: ((Shocked stare))
GC: Don't tell anyone, bard.
The cast comes out and takes a bow.
GC: So, when's the play you're in going to be
performed?
LK: ((Shrugs)) I dunno. Amanda's pretty
busy.
GC: Oh, well. I can wait. I can be very
patient.
LK: ((LOL)) Good one Goddess.
GC: ((Angry stare))
LK: Err, you're the most kind and patient
Goddess
I've ever met.
GC: Hmm, good enough. Did you notice that they
weren't speaking in English?
LK: ((Blank stare))
