GC: SPEAK UP BELLO! I CAN HARDLY MAKE OUT THE
WORDS!
BE: ((Blank stare))... ((Louder))
Miglior cuccagna Per un barbiere Vita piu nobile No non si da. La ran
la lera, La ran la la.
GC: Sweet Mother of Hestia! I still can't make out
the words.
LK: I think it's Italian.
GC: ((Blank stare))... I don't see what
difference that makes. And don't you think it's a bit rude to call
Bello an "it"?
LK: That's not what I meant. They're singing in
Italian.
GC: Why, that's absurd. I'll hear no more of your
wild speculations, bard.
LK: But...
GC: ((Glares at Leicky)) Not. A. Word.
LK: ...
Figaro agrees to get Count Almaviva into Doctor Bartolo's home so
that the Count can meet Rosina. Rosina (Trancer) steps out to the
balcony.
GC: Hey, that looks like...
Trancer (TR): Non e venuto ancor. Forse...
WI: O mia vita, Mio nume, mio tesoro. Vi veggo

TR: Oh che vergogna!... Vorrei dargli il
biglietto.
GC: ((Blank stare))
LK: (So, our little Miss Firefighter can sing)
GC: That can't be Trancer. ((Mutters)) Must

LK: ((Shocked)) Goddess! Not you too!
GC: ((Quietly)) Yes, I've succumbed to the
siren lure of Starbucks.
Doctor Bartolo comes out and puts a stop to the incipient romance.
Rosina drops a note to Count Almaviva. Later, Doctor Bartolo leaves
his home to see his friend.
Michael Rudy (MR): Fra momenti io torno; Non aprite

quest'affare.
[He mentions he intends to marry Rosina, his niece.]
GC: What?!? I thought only Greek Gods were into
that!
LK: ((Blank stare))
GC: Like you don't know what I'm talking about!
LK: ((Blush))
