[Kevin] Who do you write for? Who is the intended audience for your Callisto stories?

[Brant] I write for whoever reads them. With the proviso that some of the scenes are a little intense for the wee ones out there.

[Kevin] How important is feedback from readers? How does reader feedback influence your writings?

[Brant] Extremely important. I LOVE praise and the enthusiasm that I feel for writing is directly proportional to the amount of email I receive, hint, hint. <g> I don't think I'm any different than anyone else. I love to have my ego stroked.

[Kevin] Both "Callisto's Way" and "Times" are quite long. Do you envision an end to either of those stories?

[Brant] Of course not. Their titles should actually be _The Never Ending Story, Parts I and II_. Seriously, I am going to finish them. I know how each ends, and what I have to write to get there. TIMES is a smidgen over half done and CW is about 2/3rds complete, maybe a bit less. FYI, TIMES is at 60,000 words and CW is closing in on 90,000.

And no, I never thought either would get anywhere near that long.

[Kevin] Both stories are rather intense at times. Do you find it hard to write emotional scenes?

[Brant] It depends on the mood I'm in. Writing takes a special mood. And emotional scenes take a very special mood. Scotch helps as well. Good scotch. Very good scotch actually. <g>. Strangely, I never felt any of the scenes were particularly intense until I got some emails regarding them. Oh well, different perceptions I guess.

[Kevin] Thank you kindly Brant.
