Season one consists of 29 episodes each 50 minutes long. The DVD
transfer is sharp and clear and with great audio. It's nice watching
the episodes because of the extra few minutes that you don't get to see
in syndication (since television today has more commercial time).
A few episodes have text comments from Michael and Denise Okuda. They
show up as sticky notes during the show which I like because you can
watch the show once to get both the show and the comments. Of course
this format is only useful if there aren't many comments.
The opening credits feature Shatner and Nimoy. DeForest Kelley doesn't
get opening credits until season two I guess. Nothing much more to say.
For someone who watched these episodes over and over again as a kid but
haven't seen them in 20 years, they brought back a lot of memories.
