This is a movie about a bride betrayed by her husband. She becomes evil and her hair turns white, giving her spooky white-haired powers. Then she goes around killing everybody in the Eight Clans. That's all in the first movie, I suppose. As the sequel starts Kit (Sunny Chan) and Lyre  (Joey Memg) are married, Kit being the last descendant of one of the Eight Clans.

The White-Haired Witch (Brigitte Lin) swoops in on the wedding night, kills all the guards and kidnaps Lyre. Kit survives with the help of his friends Liu (Richard Sun) and Moon (Christy Chung). They then form a band from the Eight Clans to go and rescue Lyre and kill the Witch.

Meanwhile, the Witch apparently has her own coven of girls, all of whom have escaped abusive husbands and other assorted bad things. Really they wouldn't be that bad except they kill men indiscriminately. Inevitably they're all going to die because they're the bad guys.

A lot of the martial arts, involving wire work and sword play, is done in choppy slow motion, which is annoying. There are a couple of songs in the movie, which is ok. There are a couple of unrequited romantic subplots, which I like. But in the end it's not a remarkable movie.
