Teaser
Paul Vitti (Robert De Niro), mob boss, is in trouble. After years being
top dog he is seemingly losing it -- he can't bring himself to rough up
a young punk and he's stricken with anxiety attacks. He needs a
psychiatrist. By providence, that very day his lieutenant, Jelly (Joe
Viterelli), ran into a shrink, Dr. Ben Sobel (Billy Crystal). So Vitti
visits Sobel and draws him into his world and no matter what Sobel
does, he can't seem to get rid of Vitti.
Movie
It's a comedy. First time I saw "Analyze This" I thought it was ok and
certainly not good enough to warrant a sequel. This time when I saw it
I think that the comedy falls flat on a second viewing. It's all about
the situation and the characters and their interactions and it doesn't
work for me.

Actors
Robert De Niro is not a comedic actor and luckily he doesn't have to
play the comedic role. Billy Crystal does play the comedic role but
unfortunately doesn't carry the movie with his performance.
DVD
There are two commentary tracks, one with Director Harold Ramis and the
other one with actors Billy Crystal and Robert De Niro. Both tracks are
kind of boring. Ramis doesn't talk much and doesn't have much to say.
De Niro barely talks and Crystal is trying to be serious and it comes
out uninteresting. Also included is a 5-minute blooper reel which is
also not funny. All in all rather disappointing DVD extras.
Recommendations
I don't think it's worth watching. If you really like comedies you
might want to take a look at this movie.
