Alliance Forces Take Sevren & Tancredi IV

Sevren, Tamar Domains, Lyran Commonwealth

Lyran Commonwealth forces have officially declared the Kurita world of Sevren a member of the Commonwealth. Three BattleMech regiments led by the 19th Lyran Guards have held the world since late September of 3022. A counter- attack last month was repelled by the Commonwealth garrison.

Meanwhile, the Federated Suns has captured the world of Tancredit IV near the Draconis Combine/Outworlds Alliance/Federated Suns border. The Alliance nations are currently conducting other offensives on Combine worlds. The Capellan Confederation and Free Worlds League have not yet joined the fray.

McCarron's Cavalry Continue Deep Raid

Smolensk, Kathil PDZ, Capellan March, Federated Suns

Archie McCarron continues to plague the Federated Suns. The Armored Cav- alry surprised the AFFS by turning around and going back to hit the worlds of Goshen, Emerson, and Smolensk. Each world has quickly fallen to the Veteran attackers. The Federated Suns has responded by quickly sending relief forces to the beleaguered worlds.

The Big Mac started the deep raid in March of last year as he struck from the Capellan Confederation. The Cavalry's five 'Mech regiments have split up to hit two or three worlds in each stage. McCarron's Armored Cavalry has taken supplies from each world to cover his replenishment needs.

"TAS Pathfinder" Tops Box Office

Atreus, Marik Commonwealth, Free Worlds League

The "TAS Pathfinder" movie continued to top the box office in Atreus. The movie has been out for three weeks and has earned over 300 Million M-Bills on Atreus and over 800 Million M-Bills throughout the Free Worlds. "Pathfinder", made by Deimos Films, tells the epic story of the first manned exploration outside the Terran system. Critics have questioned the authenticity of the film due to the few records left from that era. Deimos responds that they have gotten extensive help from ComStar Archives in researching the events potrayed in their movie.

Marik Commonwealth

One of the three original states in the League, the Marik Commonwealth has remained largely immune to the balkanization caused by Camlann vs. Free Worlds. It is the political base for the Marik's power, as the large, well- trained Marik Militia is directly responsible to the Captain-General. Because it is located well within the boundaries of the League, this province has suffered little from the vast destruction of the Succession Wars. The Common- wealth has the largest and most closely knit delegation in Parliament.
