The DCMS has fought valiantly and heroically to stem the flow of Alliance forces into our precious realm. We as a State have been pushed. We will be pushed no more!

"It is time to strike back, like the dragon who awakens from the stings of bees. We will liberate our brethen from the oppressive rule of the new Alliance. We will make them pay for their effrontery!

"Citizens of the Combine, The Dragon asks you for your help. The Dragon asks you to do your duty. You will be called upon to make sacrifices, to share in the burden of our grand task. I know you will bear any burdens with honor and dignity. Know that The Dragon is proud of each and every son of the Combine."

1st Sword of Light Lands on Sevren

Leading a combined force of about ten regiments, the elite 1st Sword of Light commenced operations to liberate the world of Sevren from the Commonwealth earlier this month. The 1st Sun Zhang Academy Cadre and the mercenary St. Cyr Heavy Assault Group are also partici- pating in the liberation efforts. Defending the planet are Hansen's Roughriders, who are not reknown for their defensive prowess.

7th Sword of Light Invade Laurent

In a surprising development, a Combine force led by the elite 7th Sword of Light has invaded the planet of Laurent. The Laurent defenders have already been pushed off of the major continent of Laurent, as some of the defenders had been sent to the nearby world of Sevren.

With the departure of the 1st and 7th Sword of Light, only the 3rd Pesht Regulars remain on Luthien to protect The Black Pearl. Coordinator Takashi Kurita has gambled to take both Sevren and Laurent, which would isolate the coveted world of Tamar from the rest of the Commonwealth.

Davion Forces Hold Half of Halstead Station

Davion forces have taken all of the Southern Continent, with the largest concentration centered about the Rashan Mountains. Some defenders remain on the Southern Continent, acting in a guerilla role. But most of the planetary militia has been concentrated on the Northern Continent, where most of the population and industry reside. For now, the AFFS troops seem content with their occupation of the Southern Continent and have given no indication of invading the Northern Continent.
