Sorenson's Sabres Honored

Captain Daniel Sorenson and his Mech company were honored by Warlord Vasily Cherenkoff for their heroics in defending Altais against the Waco Rangers. Captain Sorenson was presented with the Bushido Blade medal, which the Warlord personally presented. Onhand to witness the ceremony was the full 5th Sword of Light regiment.

Another Assassination Attempt on Coordinator?

Rumors from Luthien are that Coordinator Takashi Kurita was almost killed in a 'Mech training accident. The details are still contradictory, but one version says that the training targets were switched to live-fire mode. Whether it was an accident or foul play has not been determined. The Coordinator was able to escape harm due to his extraordinary skill as a Mechwarrior.

Hanse Davion Visits Galtor III

Prince Hanse Davion arrived on Galtor III to review the planet. Galtor III was recently liberated from the Draconis Combine and the Prince wants to personally see how rebuilding efforts are progressing. Accompanying the Prince is the Royal Brigade's Heavy Guards RCT, commanded by the Prince's friend Ardan Sortek, who is on personal leave.

With its economy booming, the Alhena Raxxian Union has decided to expand its customer base. ARU representatives have been seen on nearby Lyran, Kuritan, Davion, and even Liao worlds trying to secure new markets. The Free Worlds government has no current restrictions on non-military trade with other realms, although there are certain tax breaks when dealing with the two other Concord of Kapteyn realms.
