The last DCMS troops left the planet of Galtor today,
leaving
the planet once more under the sword-and-starburst banner of the
Federated Suns. Prince Hanse Davion announced that the whole
Galtor Campaign had been an elaborate hoax to lure some Kurita
units into a trap. There is no just discovered Star League depot
on Galtor. Although analysts in our Lyran Commonwealth have said
that the results of the campaign are inconclusive, the Federated
Suns has proclaimed the campaign a resounding success.

A fire which gutted the North Wing of the Royal Palace
has
been ruled as accidental by investigators. The findings place
the source of the conflagration as Archon-Designate Melissa
Steiner's bedroom. Apparently, Ms. Steiner had a few too many
appliances plugged into one outlet. Nobody was injured during
the fire, which was put out after heroic efforts by emergency
crews.

The Domain City Demolishers defeated the Solophor

18-15 to claim the best-of-three series and advance to the Domain
Lacrosse League Finals. Forward Elliot Williams scored the go-
ahead goal with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Goalie Nina
Van Horn stopped 45 Sophont shots. The Demolishers will begin a
best-of-five series with the defending champion Riverside Raiders
next week.
