The annual April Fool's parade held in the capital of
Planting drew an estimated crowd of 125000 citizens to witness
the spectacular event. Yesterday's grand procession was led by
Planetary Chairman Jorge Leon and included participants from
over 100 organizations and companies. Fortunately, the forecasted
rain was not realized, though the reduced sunlight made
everything darker.

A small class C ComStar facility discovered destroyed
and
razed to the ground. No survivors have been found, although three
of the twenty personnel are still unaccounted for. The Circinus
Federation government blames the widespread pirate activity in
their small state. ComStar's response is forthcoming.

Archon Katrina Steiner awarded the McKennsy Hammer to
Leutnant-Colonel Yvonne Deltra, commander of the 19th Arcturan
Guards, for her "brilliant leadership on the world of Laurent
on January and February of 3025." Colonel Deltra quickly
assembled a scratch force and rushed to aid the defense of
Laurent when the 7th Sword of Light invaded in January. She
took command of the defense of the planet and successfully
defended Laurent against a superior force.

Acting on information gathered by covert operatives,
Ministry
of Information, Intelligence, and Operations agents captured a
team of Maskirovka saboteurs as they crossed the border on border
world of Kittery. Four Capellan agents were killed when they
resisted arrest, two MIIO agents were wounded. The remaining two
Liao agents are being held in a secure facility awaiting transport
to the Federation Suns interior.
