The DCMS 553rd Infantry Division has been mobilized in response to the mobilization of Federated Suns troops just across the border. The DCMS High Command has decided to mobilize the Rapid Response Divisions of the Combine, although more than half of the regular DCMS divisions are still at normal readiness.

Of the other two Concord of Kapteyn states, the Capellan Confe- deration has gone to medium alert while the Free Worlds League has gone to light alert. Chancellor Maximilian Liao has claimed that his people are "ready to repel any sort of aggression by the Davion dogs." In a report to the League Parliament Captain-General Janos Marik declared that the League Military is on a "precautionary" alert.

Rebels Strike at Regis

The Free Verthandi Army struck at the main Combine stronghold stationed in Regis, capital of Verthandi. In a brilliant operation, An FVA mixed battalion defeated two battalions of Kuritan Regulars in and around the University of Regis. Reports are that the FVA captured a company of Mechs plus other assorted vehicles and supplies.

With more information arriving, the picture in the Federated Suns has cleared. Similar to the Lyran Commonwealth, only troops in the Addicks, Kentares, Raman, and Valexa PDZs are in a high state of mobilization. Almost all units are have been replenished to combat levels. Other AFFS units have had their supplies cut back so that the Transportation and Resupply Command can focus on the mobilizing regions.

Lyran Commonwealth forces in the Federation of Skye have begun preparations for a possible major operation. While Lyran troops in the other two regions of the Commonwealth are idle, the Skye region has started receiving a major influx of supplies and replacements. All indications point to a serious military maneuver in the next few months.
