Elements of the 4th Skye Rangers clashed with Duchess Selena Kyle and her bodyguard lance in the Trackless Desert. The Duchess was touring Altair with Duke Seville Newbury of Dieron when their dropship was shot down by Ranger missile fire. The Duchess was able to defeat the Rangers, who have since been repatriated back to the Lyran Commonwealth.

In light of last month's terrorist attack on the world of Kittery, Duke Michael Hasek-Davion, Minister of the Capellan March, has requested permission to strike back at the Capellan Confederation.

"The Capellan March has long been inadequately defended by the Prince in favor of the Draconis March," said Duke Hasek- Davion in a speech. "How many people must die before New Avalon notices the danger?"

Lindon's Company Transferred to Isle of Skye

On loan from the Federated Suns, Lindon's Company arrived on Rigil Kentarus, the closest inhabited planet to Terra. The Company will fall under the command of the Ryde Theater, which faces the Draconis Combine. The Lyran Commonwealth will, in return, also transfer a unit to tour the Federated Suns.
