Summary
Now finished with their current mission, the unit travels back to
Cammal and
raids the local University. They threaten the students until they hand
over
their mascot Terrapin (which looks like a pony-sized multi-colored
armadillo).
Then they leave for Tsingtao.
On arrival they present the Terrapin to the government representatives
for a
great feast to be held in their honor. Then they spend time buying
spare parts
and fixing their 'Mechs.
Clyde enters his team in the city BattleMech video game tournament. The
team
quickly wins two qualifying matches and makes it to the championship
game.
In a furious battle of heavy/assault 'mechs, all the mechs are
destroyed and
only Clyde remains in an Awesome. The team gets the 10000 C-bill grand
prize
which Clyde graciously declines any part of. The techs party.
Selena gets a message from Duke Ricol. She takes a leave of absence and
leaves
for Altair. Sir Wrigley will be in command. The unit accepts another
assignment
from the Capellan Confederation. They are to strike at a forward supply
base of
the Taurian Concordant invasion forces.
