Summary
Once again Jinx joins the group. This time the three
will participate
in the
annual Solaris Mech Death Race. It is a two lap race with six teams of
two. There
is a team representing each Inner Sphere state and one team from the
Periphery,
which this year is a team from the Magistry of Canopus.
Sir Wrigley is in the Capellan team, Jinx is in the
Lyran team, and the
Magistry
hires Clyde to join their team. The action is fast and furious. The
Canopian team
gets into a furball with the Capellan team. The Lyran team is crunched
between
the Davion and FWL teams. Eventually a FWL 'Mech and a Capellan 'Mech
surge ahead.
In a close race, the FWL team edges out the Capellans to win the race.
The Davion
team comes in third.
