Summary
Clyde and Michelle reach Biota, in the Tamar Domains of the Lyran
Commonwealth. Izzy's Irregulars reach Lapida II in the Proserpina
Prefecture of the Draconis Combine.
Selena starts building a museum where the Magic Arena once stood.
She gives a 2 Million C-bill tax deduction to the Altair nobility.
Selena and Sir Wrigley look for MechWarriors. Selena finds an Elite
pilot which she immediately hires.
For the museum, Selena travelled Altair getting financial support
from other nobles. She also staged a fund-raising Mech combat, a
three-way fight involving herself, Sir Wrigley, and DCMS Major
Havak from the 18th Dieron in a Marauder II.
Selena and Sir Wrigley started in opposite ends of the map, with
Major Havak in the middle. Havak immediately tried to take cover
as Selena and Sir Wrigley pounded his Mech, Havak scoring a few
hits on Selena. Havak moved towards Sir Wrigley, who stood still
and fired over and over, overheating his Mech. Selena pursued
slowly.
Havak moved to the side and took cover behind a ridge as Selena
engaged Sir Wrigley. Havak sniped at Selena and managed to destroy
an AC/20 and a large laser, leaving Selena with one AC/20. Selena
performed a Death-From-Above maneuver on Sir Wrigley and rattled
his Mech. Sir Wrigley was badly shaken from the impact.
Sir Wrigley fired on Selena and got an ammo hit which disabled her
Mech. Sir Wrigley had a lightly damaged Atlas but had many personal
wounds. Havak's Marauder II had taken lots of upper armor damage
but nothing had penetrated yet. They took a few seconds to cool off.
Then they started firing on each other until finally, Major Havak
blew off the Atlas' head.
Maya hires an RG Motorized Infantry Squad.
