Summary
The Blowfish arrange to have The Fugu break down after jumping into
the Halstead Station system. Selena, Sir Wrigley, Rufus, and Maya
travel there to meet Izzy. The ruler of the planet holds some
festivities in honor of the visiting Duchess. They spend the month
looking for any clues as to the whereabouts of a research base.
Eventually they discover that there's an old Castle Brian on the
planet and that the research base was part of it.
Meanwhile, Michelle decides to go to Trell I to "talk" to Hendrik
Grimm and see if he knows anything about her brother. Upon coming
to the planet, their dropship is shot down. Clyde and Michelle
manage to extricate themselves just as a Marauder and a Crusader,
both bandits, enter the scene. A fight ensues, with the Marauder
quickly going down. The Crusader holds on long enough for the rest
of the bandits to arrive, and both Blowfish make a hasty exit. Later
investigations reveals that the bandits have taken over the planet
and the surviving Steiner garrison is fighting a guerrilla action.
