Summary
Semifinal round. Kurita vs. Liao in the Davion stadium. The Liao
team consists of a Catapult, a Dervish, two Blackjacks, two Hunter
tanks and two Pegasus tanks. The Liao team moves for cover as one
Hunter tanks and the Dervish are destroyed.
The Liao team fires back, the 'Mechs going for head shots while
the tanks provide general cover fire. Wrigley and Izzy take to
the air. They take a lot of fire but few hits are scored. The
Catapult goes down, a Pegasus goes down.
The two Blackjacks cooly keep firing as the Blowfish concentrate
on the two tanks, destroying the remaining Hunter. Wrigley takes
severe damage and goes down. Izzy charges and conducts a
successful Death-From-Above attack on one Blackjack but doesn't
destroy it. The Blackjacks attack Izzy and drive him off. Clyde
overheats his 'Mech and gives up. Another Blackjack goes down.
Selena blows up the remaining Pegasus.
Finally, Selena blows up the Blackjack with a well-aimed head
shot.
The Davion team also advances to the final round.
Afterwards, Selena hires a Veteran Mechwarrior with a Guillotine.
Wrigley hires two Veteran Mechwarriors.
