Summary
The night before the big game:
Rufus takes Selena out on a moonlit stroll in the Liao Quarter
heights. Wrigley meets Lady Nyssa Duvonovich and has dinner
with her. Later that night, he gets into an unfortunate
accident and fractures his leg. Izzy and Maya go to a Purple
Panther party held in his honor. The next day he has a bad
hangover. Michelle asks Clyde to meditate all night at a temple.
He goes to sleep and incurs some bad karma.
Game day:
Championship match in the Iron Mountain. The four PCs get split up
in the tunnels and each meets a small group of enemy units. Wrigley
goes up against a Stinger and a light tank. Izzy meets a Whitworth
and a light tank. Selena is sorrounded by a Catapult and three
Pegasus tanks. Clyde is caught in a dead end with a Whitworth
and three light tanks.
Izzy runs. Wrigley destroys the Stinger and tries to retreat.
Selena takes heavy fire but destroys the head of the Catapult and
kicks one of the tanks into submission. Clyde destroys a tank,
but takes a couple of AC/20 shots from two Saladin tanks.
Clyde's opposition go after Wrigley, as Wrigley falls into a
pit. In a desperate holding action, Wrigley and Clyde destroy
three tanks while Wrigley takes an AC/20 that destroys his right
torso.
After that, the rest of the Davion mechs retreat and the Kuritan
team wins the Championship.
Post-game:
Big party thrown by the Kuritan ambassador.
Selena hirs a Veteran Mechwarrior and a Green Mechwarrior with
a Mech. Maya hires a squad of Regular jump infantry to fill out
the infantry company.
