Encounter 4: Diamonds

"Island City Stadium is home to the local Hawaiian League baseball club, the Island City Sunrays. Calling is a bit grandiose, as it's little more than a baseball field with bleachers all around it. If anyone were to pull off a diamond prank having to do with baseball, you'd bet it'd be the recently escaped super-villain Sportsmaster."

Sportsmaster had perfected a Null Gravity Tractor Beam (Omni-Gadget: BODY 2, Gravity Decrease 8, Telekinesis 8) to grab the baseball diamond and float it away. He hasn't had a chance to use it until now. For some reason The Shade has been assigned to this mission and Sportsmaster is still sore at the Shade for abandoning him at the end of issue #2. There will also be two thugs for each hero above 2 initially present.

It'll only take a few minutes (6 APs) to grab the field and go. Once again heroes will be 13 or 14 APs away and will have to push their movement to reach the site in time. There will be a note left behind:
I expect that you have captured both of these idiots. They were obviously antagonistic towards each other and this mission was a test to see if they could work together. But I don't believe either of them would. Consider this a gift, though if you didn't succeed in apprehending both of these villains, you really have no hope against the rest of the Society.

Enough of this! I tire of these games. To show you the might of the Society, we will stage three crimes tomorrow. Try to stop them all!

With no clues, the heroes have almost no chance of stopping the crimes. They have to find the Secret Society headquarters by tomorrow.
