Encounter 3: Initial Investigations
Should the robots be captured, Riff will probably want to study them.
Professor Huminitz will suggest taking the robots to a proper lab,
hoping that Riff will take the robots to the Island City Heroes HQ. In
any case, examining the robots is a Scientist or Gadgetry vs OV/RV
15/15 (or 13/13 if both robots were captured) -- remember Riff's
Scholar (Robotics) bonus.
Robot info:
- 1 RAP: Both robots are have transistor ciruits
- 1/2 RAPs: Both robots are mirror images of each other
(i.e. reversed)
- Full RAPs: Both robots have attachment points for
hooking up accessories

Encounter 4: Rad Under Siege
Rad
"You are flying on patrol when two flying robots fly up beside you."
The robots will attack Rad after a few phases, or if Rad attacks them.
Once again, the robots are supposed to lose, though Rad should be
challenged.
If examined along with the other robots, it is a Scientist/Gadgetry vs
OV/RV 15/15 (-1 CS per additional robot captured).
- 1 RAP: Both robots are similar to the first two
robots.
- 1/2 RAPs: Due to the metallurgical contents, all
robots were made in Allied country.
- Full RAPs: The robots were programmed to lose and be
captured.
If Rad used his Energy Blast or Bomb powers to disable the robots,
examination will reveal that the transistor circuits seem to be
particularly vulnerable to his radiation powers, though the exterior
shell provides much protection.
