Ghost Girl Subplot C1
Ghost Girl
"You wake up in the morning underneath your bed, feeling sick."
Ghost Girl, being from another dimension, particularly vulnerable to
certain forms of radiation, such as that emitted by Rad (and both
Sharks). The months of working with him have finally started to affect
her and she will feel constantly run down. Keep reminding the player
that Ghost Girl is a bit under the weather.
This won't be enough to affect her in game play unless Rad (or Prof
Jones) is close by (within 1 AP, 20 feet). In this case assume she has
a Minor Power Burnout (Roll 2) on all her powers, rolled each phase for
Automatic Powers. Opponents get a +1 to their die roll to hit Ghost
Girl. Both of these drawbacks can be implemented without the player
knowing (unless Ghost Girl suffer a Power Burnout).
Awards:
Ghost Girl: +1/2 if she sees a doctor or does something proactive.
Riff Subplot B1
Run this once the robot goes under.
Riff
"As your robot plunges into the briny sea, you can't help but think 'I
should have installed a flotation device!'"
If Riff angsts over this or goes overboard after the robot or does
anything else that causes him to hesitate for a phase, give him a +1/2
Subplot Award. Never fear though, the Devastatron will be back...

Rad Subplot A2
Run this scene before Encounter 1.
Rad
"The Inspectors from the Criminal Investigation Division are back
asking questions in the aftermath of the MechaGodzilla incident."
The two investigators -- Thompson and Manetti, have it in for Prof
Jones. They *know* that he's suspicious and believe that he is a
Japanese agent. They will ask where he was during the attack and if
anyone can provide an alibi for him.
From Riff and Ghost Girl they will ask if they saw Prof Jones during or
before the attack and will be quite interested if Ghost Girl reveals
that she went into Prof Jones' office during the attack and didn't see
him there.
Awards:
- Ghost Girl: +1/2 for mentioning going into Prof
Jones' office.
- Riff: +1/2 for mentioning Prof Jones' quick
disappearance in Issue 6 (Lines of Death)
- Rad: +1/2 for being here. +1/2 if he creates more
trouble for himself or his teammates.
