Dramatis Personae
Mayor Huernot
The incumbent and has a sizable lead in the polls. He has been
targetted for assassination by Moloch, so that Moloch's candidate has a
clearer path to the nomination. Huernot is a hapless and loveable old
man who tries his best.
Detective Chin Ho
Kelly
Part of Huernot's security section, asks the heroes provide more
security for the convention.
Ken Shade
Huernot's chief rival, Shade has been rumored to be backed by organized
crime (and he is). Shade is a smooth talker and oily individual.
Moloch
The king of organized crime in Island City. Although he does not appear
in this adventure, his machinations drive the primary plot.

The Koas
Warriors in Hawaiian, the Koas are a ragtag bunch of homeless youths
led by Mother. They are nihilists who routinely kidnap and sacrifice
people. They believe that The Pig (Huernot) must be assassinated to
further their goals.
Stanislaus Bridge
Millionaire playboy is doing this on a lark. He's serious about being a
good mayor but realizes that Huernot does a good job already.
Sandra Knight
Bridge's girl friend. Rumors of a wedding are starting to circulate.
Knight moonlights as the super-heroine Phantom Lady.
Louis Conrad
Bridge's campaign manager. Tries to blackmail Rad to throw his support
for Bridge. |
