4: The Arctic
All
"You arrive at the ARC. It's dark. And cold. Really cold."
Note that the North Pole is in it's night cycle. Treat as standard
night time. Lights are up all over the place, so it's not totally dark,
at least not near the dome. It's a seeming miracle that Hal can get the
heroes to the ARC.
ARC Dome
It looks ice blue and glassy. It is light (10 APs) and strong (BODY
15), rising 60 feet (3 APs) at the center. 15 foot panels serve as
interior walls. The panels have been strengthened to BODY 6. Three of
the bedrooms are empty and unused since their occupants are long dead.
Vehicle Shed
Nothing unusual about it. One of the ice borers is inside, along with
several snowmobiles.
Gizmo's Igloo
A small igloo with a correspondingly small entrance. A group of 6
(robotic) sled dogs rest outside the igloo.
Gravesite
The heroes are liable to miss this since it's dark. Three bodies are
buried under the ice and can be dimly seen from the surface.
Bore Holes
Spaced around the site, not completely making a circle. The last couple
of bore holes look to have been deliberately filled in.
