Too bad a lobster thing got in the room too and ripped the Tellarite's suit. The explosive decompression killed him, and with the Andorians comatose they suffocated after a day. Meanwhile the giant lobster went into hibernation, but Jon shot it, just in case, before he refilled the bridge with atmosphere. They got the freighter back, didn't kill too many cats, and had a fun time all around. All in all, another nice way to relieve the boredom of patrolling the Klingon Neutral Zone.

Reflecting back, there was one too many players. I can handle five, but six is a bit problematic. Chris once again didn't do anything with Beltana. I have no idea what he's waiting for. Donald was also back to his noncommital self, just wanting to roll dice instead of role-playing the action. Shannon was not feeling well on account of having his wisdom teeth pulled out the day before, so I can almost excuse his lack of play. Almost. Really, Rowe was the best player for once. Fulton was a bit rusty from not playing for months. Woo almost fades into the background.

Next episode, with Sweet back I guess he'll be in charge. This season I want six people to lead, though I'll settle for less if Fulton and Sweet double up on mission leads. Writing of which, this is one of the few 100% missions, which improves Fulton's rating to 68% I feel that 60 or better is a good rating for most commanders, with 75 or better for the best commanders. I can't imagine anyone getting a 90+ rating after a few missions -- I'm rather an unforgiving grader.
As I told the players. This is an all new season and a change for the show. New opening intro and credits, a more jazzed up musical score, more action and more babes (did I mention that all the Kzinti warriors were female?). A rather unsophisticated attempt at raising the ratings of the show. Or an excuse to use up the various TOS adventures that I have, which are mostly Klingon based and more action oriented than LUG's adventures.
