"They smell worse on the inside than on the outside?"

"They taste best honey roasted?"

Kat and John stared at Venor.

"That is just something I heard."

"From whom?"

"A Klingon cook that I met on Starbase 49."

"On our last shore leave?"

"Yes John, I met him on the last shore leave."

"The one where the Klingons put on an 'authentic' Hawaiian luau?"

"I went to that luau! The food was great! The stuff that didn't move, that is."

"Kat, you are one of the few people who can stomach any Klingon cooking."

"Hey, it was free food and they invited me."

"Whatever. Venor, that shore leave?"

"The one with the luau? Yes it was."
"Didn't you get a security notice that a Tellarite family had gone missing right before then."

"Hmm, I believe you are correct, John."

"Kat, how was the roast pig at the luau?"

"It was delicious. I never had honey roasted... ham... before."

Kat turned green.

"Don't throw up on me!" warned John.

And then their Cardassian guard was stuck like a pig with a wicked looking spear.
