iOS Wumpus Games

There are two Hunt the Wumpus type games on the iOS App Store.
WumpusWorld (2018) [-] from Adaptelligence presents a grid and you have a figure that moves around and can shoot an arrow. You try to find the gold, grab it, then get back to the entrance square in the fewest moves. There is a Wumpus and one or more bottomless pits but no bat.
Wumpus Cave (2024) [/] is a lot more complicated. It has a graphical view on top and a text window on the bottom which describes what is going on. The top shows you valid directions: four compass points and four diagonals with blocked exits disabled. But when you exit a room in one direction you enter the next room from a random entrance so it's quite difficult to visualize the space and mapping it out is necessary. There is a Wumpus, pits, but not sure if there is a bat. You have popcorn to mark your trail and a pet grimble but I don't know what it's for. Also this is a leveled game so the more you play the harder it gets — level 1 has 15 rooms and a Wumpus with no pits.
Of the two WumpusWorld is too simple and strange that it didn't implement the bat. Wumpus Cave is challenging enough to be interesting for a while though perhaps a bit strange that it is predominantly text-based.
