We played
D&D yesterday. Finally Eric Fulton got to run a session. It was
just Woo, Sweet and I -- a Ranger, a Barbarian, and a Cleric -- enough
to mount our own adventure. We journeyed West, heading for the edge of
the map where a great artifact is said to be. The big combat was a host
of undead lead by a Master Vampire. We were in a caravan so had a lot
of low level guys on our side too. It was very close -- I Turned a lot
of undead and we three were all close to dying. But we did win. I got a
follower out of the encounter and now I'm back to being interested in
D&D.
I didn't get to run my adventure which is fine. One of the main plot
points tied in to Peter Pan. But I won't be around next week and he's
finally moving to Los Angeles after that. I am getting an iSight so
that he can continue gaming with us. At least I thought that was the
plan although he seemed surprised when I mentioned the iSight. I know,
the discussions have been going from serious to joking to serious
again, so I guess he didn't expect that.

Geez, I'm
playing Diablo II too much. Played a few hours yesterday, mostly during
gaming. A big combat with lots of NPCs means lots of free time. Then I
played another 2 or 3 hours today and finished Act I of five acts. The
final battle of Act I was scary since Woo and Fulton had warned me that
it was tough. Luckily, I was able to run around and around a pool,
shooting at Andariel and finally managed to kill her.
Raiders just lost again. Now they're 2-4 I think and it must be
disappointing to their fans, considering they went to the Super Bowl
last year. 49'ers aren't doing much better, at 2-3 and playing the 4-1
Seahawks tonight. Of course, the Niners played way above expectations
last year so this year they're playing somewhat below expectations.
This is an important game and a win would help a lot. Still plenty of
time to win the Division.
