The entrance to the Lisa Marie Airplane tour. Although like most of the
tours
here it's really more of a self-paced museum. Right behind me is an ice
cream
stand. But they sell this ice cream of the future. The ice cream is
shaped into
little balls (about the size of, oh, the candy sprinkles on a donut)
and Chris
said it was good. Melts faster than normal ice cream.

The
Lisa Marie is a big airplane. A converted Convair 880 that originally
carried
88 passengers. I don't have any pictures of the inside, but it is quite
impressive.
Since it's so cramped they can't cordon you off from the furniture, so
all the
furniture is wrapped in plastic. But there is a sitting room, a dining
room, a
bedroom (with a good-sized bed), and a full bathroom.

The
Hound Dog II is a small JetStar jet that Elvis bought in 1975. This is
a very
small plane and you can only step inside and just look at the interior
because
there is a partition blocking you. I took a picture of the interior but
the glare
is annoying. The Lisa Marie is much more interesting.

After
each of the three museums the exit dumps you into a gift shop. It's a
clever marketing scheme. My brother Chris is standing in front of an
interesting
display of Elvis records. I don't know if you can but the plaques, but
you can
buy a lot of other displays so I wouldn't be surprised.
