Mt Hephaestus Erupts
Vulcan (-67.29, 323.39)
Tamar Domains
Tamar Pact
Lyran Commonwealth
Mt Hephaestus, the largest active volcano on the Tierra
Del
Fuego continent, erupted yesterday, spewing billions of tons of
debris into the upper atmosphere. Volcanologists were nearby to
monitor the eruption, which may pose a danger to the cities of
the Dismal continent, on the other side of the world. The best
meteorologists from the Commonwealth and the Federated Suns are
on-hand to examine the effects of the eruption on the weather
patterns of Vulcan.
Regulan Fleet Strays into Oriente Space
Dayr Khuna (-114.75, -198.21)
Duchy of Oriente
Free Worlds League
A military fleet from the Principality of Regulus out
on maneuvers accidentally strayed into the Duchy of Oriente.
Oriente officials have filed a formal protest in Parliament
while the Duchy's Rapid Response Force rushed to Dayr Khuna
to "observe" the Regulan fleet. The Regulan government has
not issued an official statement, and there are fears that
this is the beginning of an intra-League war between the
two powers.

LCAF In Danger of Losing Isle of Skye
Skye (-57.90, 52.16)
Isle of Skye
Federation of Skye
Lyran Commonwealth
In an embarrassing show of Lyran military might, the
LCAF
has lost 90% of the Isle of Skye to the AFFS since the start of
the Galahad Games. Elite Federated Suns units have outsmarted
and outfought their Commonwealth counterparts throughout the
contested worlds of Skye. The Galahad Games are pointing out
the inadequacies of LCAF doctrine and military preparedness,
which will have to be addressed in the coming months.
