A large pirate dropship was shot down by the planetary
militia. The pirates tried to sneak past the aerospace defenses
with false IFF transponders. By a stroke of bad luck, the pirates
were discovered and intercepted by a wing of aerospace fighters.
The dropship was able to land somewhere in the Mt Hephaestus
region. Ground militia forces are being mobilized.

ComStar has detected hyperpulse transmissions
originating
from the Coreward Periphery. Triangulation between ComStar
stations have pinpointed the origin of the transmissions as
coming from the center of the galaxy. ComStar has not been able
to decode the transmissions.

value to both militaries, and the practical experience of a large

as the economic disruption in the Isle of Skye region.

A Kittery Mech training battalion on maneuvers was
ambushed
by a veteran Capellan company. Leftenant Andrew Redburn rallied
the trainees and repulsed the assault, taking light casualties
in the process. Major Justin Allard was wounded in the battle.
