Leftenant Andrew Redburn was awarded the Federated
Suns'
Silver Sunburst for his leadership and gallantry in last month's
Capellan ambush. In the best traditions of the AFFS, Leftenant
Redburn rallied a cadet battalion after the battalion commander
was incapacitated. His inspired tactics and quick thinking saved
the battalion from destruction at the hands of a superior Liao
force. Prince Hanse Davion presented the medal to Leftenant
Redburn, who travelled to New Avalon from Kittery via a Command
Circuit.
Lava Creatures Shake Biological Community

The science world has been shocked by the discovery of
lava
creatures living on the planet Vulcan, in the Lyran Commonwealth.
Only one confirmed report of the creatures have surfaced,
although there have been several unconfirmed reports in the past
500 years. Speculation is that the lava creatures live only on
Vulcan's uninhabitable Tierra Del Fuego continent.

Gatchina to Join Rim Commonality?

the financially strapped world may adversely affect the
Commonality economy.
