Martial Law Declared in KCMC City

The Kurita Combine Munitions Corporation has declared
martial
law in KCMC City in order to forestall the spread of the growing
gang violence to their city. KCMC officials stated that this is
strictly a preventive measure and that there has been no reported
clashes between the Yakuza and Tong in the city.
Mother Worm Sighted

Jym Calhund, a resident in the outside of Dragon's
Domain,
claims to have sighted Mother Worm some two hundred kilometers
from the city. Investigations by a Kurita patrol uncovered no
evidence of the creature. Although there have been occassional
reports of a giant desert worm -- nicknamed Mother Worm by some
local inhabitants -- throughout Altair, no conclusive evidence
has been found that proves the evidence of the creature.

Mechs Clash in Blue Canton

A lance of Royal Guards fought a pitched battle with a
lance
of Tong Mechs. The brief clash, which took place in the Singwa
District of Blue Canton, left two Tong Mechs disabled while the
Guards took light damage. Duchess Selena Kyle has also dispatched
a lance of Guards to patrol Bonanza.

The Second Galahad Games started with a bold March-wide
offensive by the "Draconis Combine" Opposing Force (OPFOR).
Thirty Mech regiments invaded twenty worlds all along the border,
overwhelming the initial defenders, composed of mixed Lyran/
Davion units. The March capital of Robinson has been isolated
from the rest of the Federated Suns by the offensive.
