The 1st Federated-Commonwealth Regiment -- composed of recent
graduates from Federated Suns' New Avalon MIlitary Academy and
the Lyran Commonwealth's Albion Military Academy -- engaged
the 9th Benjamin Regulars on the Davion world of Klathandu.
Although initially successful, the green troops of the 1st F-C
were routed by the veteran troops of the 9th Benjamin. With
the loss of the 1st F-C, the other defenders collapsed, leaving
the world in Kuritan hands.
3rd Dieron Destroys New Freedom

The 3rd Dieron Regulars invaded Lyons long enough to destroy
the city of New Freedom. The Kell Hounds arrived and clashed
with the Kuritan Mechs, who retreated after heavy losses.
Kuritan forces executed half of the populace of New Freedom,
and the survivors will have a hard time rebuilding.

Chancellor Maximilian Liao awarded Citizen Justin Xiang with
the Baton of Illustrious Service in a televised ceremony.
"Citizen Xiang braved untold dangers to retrieve key technology
from the Federated Suns that will ensure our success in this
war!" claimed the Chancellor. As a more tangible reward for
his efforts in service of the Confederation, Citizen Xiang was
also named Shonso of Teng, in the St. Ives Commonality.

Showing no signs of stopping, the AFFS launched the fifth wave
of their invasion. The Fifth Syrtis Fusiliers lead three mercenary
Mech regiments and 15 other regiments into Sarna. Defending Sarna
are the regiments of McCarron's Armored Calvalry. Eight other
worlds have been attacked, many of those worlds left lightly
defended as the Confederation hoards its meager forces.
