A large Kuritan force consisting of the Legion of Vega plus
supporting units liberated the lightly defended world of Dromini
VI. Colonel Theodore Kurita lead the Combine troops, who have
started fortifying the world. The fall of Dromini once more puts
border worlds in the Isle of Skye within striking distance of the
Dragon.

A battalion of the Liao Death Commandos struck at the Kathil
Shipyards earlier today. Their target was the power generators
which provide energy for the orbital shipywards. In a spirited
defense, the First Kathil Uhlans, commanded by Colonel Morgan
Hasek-Davion, were able to stop the Death Commandos, who fought
to the last Mech.

Prince Hanse Davion suffered minor injuries when he helped defend
the New Avalon Institute of Science against a Mech raid. The
attackers, who have not yet been identified, were able to slip
through the orbital defense network and drop onto the NAIS
grounds. Prince Davion, in his Battlemaster, was aided by the
mercenary Team Banzai, who are headquartered at the NAIS.
Lyran Guards Launch Preemptive Strike

The 10th Lyran Guards launched a preemptive strike on the Combine
storehouses on Dromini VI. The Guards, led by Colonel Frederick
Steiner, destroyed several depots and minor units before they
were forced to surrender against overwhelming odds. Lyran
commandos disabled several Kuritan jumpships recharging at the
Nadir point. The operation's success will most likely prevent
Theodore Kurita from launching any sort of large-scale military
operation for the next few months.
