Violent solar winds are hampering communications sent via
ComStar. The record storms, which started late last month, are
forcasted to continue for at least the next few months. Space
traffic is also in some danger as the solar winds pose a
radiation hazard to traveling dropships.
Jumpships Appear at Nadir Point

Lyran jumpships appeared at the Nadir jump point yesterday.
Multiple dropships are even now burning towards Altair. Duchess
Selena Kyle has ordered the militia to be mobilized. Altair City
is being fortified for the coming battle. The Lyran jumpships
will reach the planet within the next 10 days.

The ten militia regiments have finished mobilizing in record
time, only two days before Lyran troops are expected to make
landfall. Three regiments are based in Altair City, two in
Bonanza and KCMC City, and one each in the cities of Dragon's
Domain, Blue Canton, and Tarawa Outpost. The Royal Guard and 1st
ACR remain in Altair City under the direct command of the
Duchess.

Two Lyran Mech regiments and supporting troops have landed
virtually unopposed. The 17th Skye Rangers are organizing near
Bonanza while the mercenary Always Faithful are setting up to
attack KCMC City. Armor and infantry regiments have split off
from the Mech forces to take the other minor cities of Altair.
